Wizz Air restores online services after IT outage, offers refunds and rebooking options
, NewsWizz Air announced today that its online services are back up and running, allowing passengers to book tickets and check in on its website, which had been unavailable due to a global IT systems disruption.
Although the disruption was beyond the company’s control, Wizz Air stated that passengers with canceled flights will automatically receive a 120% refund in Wizz credits within 24 hours of the original flight departure.
Passengers who prefer to rebook their flight rather than receive a refund can call the company’s non-premium customer service line for arrangements, according to the announcement.
Customers can now rebook their flights or request refunds through the official Wizz Air website or mobile app (wizzair.com), as confirmed by the low-cost airline.
