Tunnel Sozina has serviced 1.96 million vehicles since the beginning of the year
, NewsAccording to data from the Monteput website, which manages Sozina, 3.52 million vehicles passed through the tunnel last year, 3.07 million in 2022, and 2.61 million in 2021.
Tunnel Sozina was opened in July 2005. Its construction cost about 74 million euros, of which Montenegro provided 50 million, while 24 million was secured through a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
Tunnel Sozina is 4,190 meters long and connects the coastal region with the central part of Montenegro.
