Sozina Tunnel sees over 347,000 vehicles in 2025 so far
, NewsThe Sozina Tunnel has served 347,340 vehicles since the beginning of this year.
According to data from Monteput, the company managing the tunnel, a total of 3.78 million vehicles passed through the tunnel last year.
In 2023, 3.52 million vehicles used the tunnel, while in 2022, the number was 3.07 million.
Opened in July 2005, the Sozina Tunnel was constructed at a cost of approximately 74 million EUR, with 50 million EUR provided by Montenegro and 24 million EUR secured through a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The Sozina Tunnel is 4.19 kilometers long and connects the coastal region with the central part of Montenegro.
