Price of active energy in Montenegro to remain unchanged
, NewsThe price of active energy will not increase, said the President of the Board of Directors of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG), Milutin Đukanović, in the “Link” program on Radio Montenegro.
As he explained, “electricity prices have remained stable for the majority of consumers for a long time.”
“The price of active energy will not increase, and the other components of the electricity bill are part of the law and regulations. We will have to adjust active energy prices as we move closer to the EU by 2027, but there will be no increase in active energy prices from January 1. As for the other components, decisions about them will be made in the future,” Đukanović clarified.
According to him, EPCG has helped the community avoid influencing inflationary processes.
“We must clarify that the electricity bill contains several components, and we decide on active energy and its price. That is what we produce in thermal and hydroelectric power plants,” he said.
During the conversation on the “Link” program, he also praised the Speaker of the Parliament, Andrija Mandić, for congratulating Trump, saying that the American people demonstrated that they must remain faithful to traditional values and the desire for freedom.
“They do not want to be slaves but to build America, which has been a symbol of democracy and freedom,” Đukanović noted.
