Podgorica to build new athletic stadium with 13 million EUR investment
, NewsA new athletic stadium is planned for construction in Podgorica, with an investment of 13 million euros, announced the Minister of Sports and Youth, Dragoslav Šćekić.
In an interview with the Mina agency, Šćekić highlighted that, while the funds allocated for 2025 provide a solid foundation for key national projects, ambitions and potential in the world of sports often exceed current budget frameworks.
“The funds earmarked for 2025 offer a solid basis for the realization of key national projects. An example of this is the planned construction of a modern athletic stadium in Podgorica, estimated to cost 13 million euros. The stadium will feature a certified athletics track, seating for 2,500 spectators, and additional facilities such as an athletic tunnel and a gym,” Šćekić said.
