Over 65 thousand tourists in March
, NewsIn March, 65.22 thousand arrivals and 156.45 thousand overnight stays of tourists were realized in collective accommodation in Montenegro, according to Monstat’s preliminary data.
“Out of the total number of overnight stays in collective accommodation, 83.8 percent were made by foreigners, and 16.2 percent by domestic tourists,” the announcement states.
In the structure of overnight stays by type of tourist places in March, the most overnight stays were achieved in coastal towns 79.1 percent, the capital 14.1 percent, mountain towns 3.9 percent and other towns 2.8 percent.
Collective accommodation facilities include hotels, boarding houses, motels, tourist settlements, resorts, hostels and camps and does not include individual, so-called private accommodation – accommodation in houses and rooms for rent, as well as in tourist apartments.
