Nikšić Steel Factory achieves best business results in November, begins debt repayment
, NewsWorkers at the Nikšić Steel Factory took the possibility of the plant’s closure seriously, but the management reported exceptional business results in November. After several months of rising debt, the factory started repaying a debt of nearly 1.3 million euros, and workers received their salaries.
The management is satisfied with the performance in November, as it marks the best result since January 2023. The workers fulfilled their tasks and delivered more than the planned 2 MW of steel constructions, thus preventing the possibility of bankruptcy.
For November, a gross salary of 345,000 euros was secured, while the total debt of the factory, which includes taxes, contributions, environmental fees and VAT, has reached 1.29 million euros.
The factory also delivered enough elements for 3 MW of solar power plants, further confirming its operational potential.
