Montenegro, Two more companies have shown their interest in investing in renewable energy sources

The companies Montenegro Investment & holdings from Kotor and RES Montenegro group from Podgorica have shown their interest in investing in renewable energy sources, which have been issued urban planning and technical conditions.
The company Montenegro Investment & Holdings is planning the construction of a solar power plant at the location of several cadastral plots in KO Draževina in Podgorica. According to the urban planning and technical conditions adopted by the Government at the last session, the area of the site is approximately 190,000 m2.
– According to previously conducted analyzes submitted by the investor, it was determined that the potential amount of annual electricity produced from the solar power plant with a total power of 12.50 MW is explained in the document.
RES Montenegro Group is planning the construction of an energy facility on several cadastral plots of different areas, which are located in the settlements of Lastva and Ubli on Cetinje. The total area of the site where the construction of the solar power plant is planned is 7,689,900 m2.
– According to the analyzes submitted by the company RES Montenegro Group, it was determined that the potential power of the photovoltaic power plant was determined at the level of the total possible connection power of 506 MW, with solar energy amounting to 1600 kWh/m2 and possible annual electricity production amounting to 750 GWh – he states are in the issued urban planning and technical conditions.
