, NewsThe value of purchase and sale of agricultural, forestry and fishing products from business entities and agricultural cooperatives with two or more employees in the fourth quarter of last year amounted to EUR 11.1 million.
Monstat announced that the value of sales from own production was EUR 3.5 million or 31.5 percent, while the value of purchases from individual agricultural producers was EUR 7.6 million or 68.5 percent.
“The value of the purchase and sale of agricultural, forestry and fishing products in the fourth quarter of last year compared to the same quarter of 2021 recorded a growth of 49.9 percent,” the announcement states.
A 74.8 percent Increase in the value of sales from the own production of business entities was recorded, and a 40.7 percent increase in the value of the purchase of agricultural products from individual producers. In the structure of the purchase and sale of agricultural, forestry and fishing products in the fourth quarter of last year, raw cow’s milk accounted for 23 percent, livestock by species and categories 20.5 percent, chicken eggs 20.2 percent, and other products 11.2 percent.
Fresh vegetables participate with 10.2 percent, fresh fruit 8.1 percent, fresh fish 4.6 percent, fruit and grape products 1.1 percent, industrial plants 1 percent and grapes 0.1 percent.
