Montenegro ready for serious step forward in positioning of the total IT community
, NewsThe government recognizes the importance of IT activities and within its mechanisms will do everything to ensure that business conditions are competitive with the best European standards, announced Finance Minister Aleksandar Damjanović.
Today, he spoke with the president of the IT Community Association of Montenegro, Alekandra Prelević, and representatives of international IT companies operating in Montenegro about the creation of conditions that will enable Montenegro to be recognized as an ideal IT destination, as well as measures that will contribute to a serious step forward in positioning of the total IT community in our society.
Damjanović, as announced by the relevant Ministry, said that with the aim of bringing the best solutions, a detailed comparative analysis will be carried out, which will ultimately contribute to the number of representatives of the international IT community in our country exceeding the existing level many times over.
Representatives of renowned companies from this area, who have tied business and personal engagement to Montenegro, presented the challenges they face in doing business on our market, comparing the conditions here with conditions in other European countries. As it was announced, they see the most room for improvement in the area of tax policies, but also in the matter of defining resident status.
Today’s meeting was attended by representatives of the companies Customertimes Montenegro, HTL Devco, ByteMinds Montenegro, Artec 3D Adriatika, Belka Games and DataArt Solutions, INC, New York.
