, NewsMontenegro is an attractive destination for German investors, although the possibilities for economic cooperation are not completely exhausted, representatives of the city administration of the Capital Cetinje assessed.
Today, they met with members of the delegation from Germany and representatives of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), who were introduced to the activities and projects implemented by the city administration in terms of the dynamic development of the Capital, as well as plans for the future period.
“The topic of the meeting was the political and economic challenges of the Capital Cetinje at the current time, as well as the possibilities of improving cooperation and investing in the Capital,” the announcement states.
The deputy mayor of the Capital, Ana Novović, expressed her satisfaction with today’s visit and pointed out that she hopes that there will be more similar meetings in the future.
It was assessed that there are positive trends in economic relations between Montenegro and Germany.
The guests expressed special interest in two projects whose implementation is underway and which will significantly improve the tourist offer of the city – the Kotor-Lovćen cable car and the construction of the Lokanda hotel, as well as the incentive program for investments in the Obod business zone and the Zagrablje industrial zone.
“At the end of the meetings, mutual satisfaction and willingness to further strengthen and improve the extremely meaningful cooperation between Montenegro and Germany in the coming time was expressed through the investment opportunities that were discussed,” the announcement concludes.
