In the Durmitor Tourist Center, they are satisfied with the visit, and the entire ski area is in operation, announced director Marinko Purić.

“The weather has been kind to us these past weeks, on weekdays we have a little less visitors, and on weekends the number of guests has increased, today we have over a thousand visitors. Everything is working at full capacity, the infrastructure we have, catering facilities, ski equipment rental”, said Purić to Radio Montenegro.

Organized transportation from Podgorica to Savin Kuk started this weekend and will continue until the end of the month, every Saturday, the RTCG portal reports.

“From this weekend, we have a new ski bus in cooperation with the TO of the capital city, the NTO, the TO of Žabljak and the Chamber of Commerce, we have a bus that is free and brings skiers, today a big bus arrived with about fifty guests, who with free transportation from the Tourist Center they also got a 25 percent discount on the ski pass,” said Purić.

The only complaint of the guests of Savina kuk refers to the crowds at the ski resort. A visitor from Nikšić said that he was amazed by Durmitor’s offer.

“I visited all the ski resorts in the region, but I think that this is our local highlight, that Durmitor, in addition to skiing and walking to the Black Lake, can offer some freshness and local spirit, so we should cultivate local ones,” said the visitor from Nikšić.

Although January without snow can hardly be compensated, a good visit in February and the expected extension of the ski season will at least partially make it possible to compensate for the losses, the management of the Savin kuk ski resort hopes.
