Ministry of Mining announces public tender for concessions on mining sites in Rožaje and Žabljak
, NewsThe Ministry of Mining, Oil and Gas has invited interested parties to submit bids for the concession agreement for the exploitation of non-metallic mineral resources of technical and construction stone at the Pogled site in Rožaje and the Ražano Polje 2 site in Žabljak.
Bids for the Pogled site must be submitted by February 17, and for Ražano Polje 2 by February 18.
Domestic or foreign companies, legal entities, entrepreneurs, individuals, as well as consortia or other forms of business associations, who meet the requirements set forth by the Concessions Law, are eligible to participate in the public tender.
The Ministry explained that the evaluation criteria will include the proposed percentage rate for calculating the concession fee and the proposed annual mining production volume, each worth 30 points; bidder references, worth 15 points; average gross income and profit for the last three years, each worth 10 points; and the quality of the business plan and its impact on employment and economic development, worth 5 points.
Bidders wishing to participate in the public tender must first purchase the tender documentation.
As proof of bid security, bidders must submit a bank guarantee in the amount of 5,000 EUR, payable on first demand, without the right to appeal.
Bids should be submitted to the Ministry’s address and delivered in a sealed envelope.
