Joint performance of the tourism economies of Montenegro and Serbia
, NewsThe Minister of Tourism and Youth of Serbia, Husein Memić, discussed with the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism of Montenegro Goran Đurović in Belgrade on Wednesday the joint performance of the tourism economies of the two countries in third markets.
The ministers agreed that after the pandemic, it is necessary to consolidate the tourist offer of the entire region for the complete recovery of traffic with distant markets.
Memic pointed out that to that end, Serbia and Montenegro should intensify promotional activities, primarily towards the Chinese market, especially since “Air Serbia” will establish direct flights between Belgrade and the Chinese city of Tianjin in December.
Đurović said that he expects that the Working Group of Serbia and Montenegro for Tourism, which was formed in February 2022, will be activated, the Government of Serbia announced, local media writes.
