Increase in cow milk production and dairy products in Q4 2024
, NewsThe total amount of purchased cow’s milk in the fourth quarter of last year was 6.81 million liters, which is a 1.5% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
According to Monstat, the average fat content in milk in the fourth quarter of last year decreased by 8.3% compared to the same quarter in 2023, while the protein content increased by 1%.
“In the fourth quarter of last year, compared to the same quarter in 2023, there was an increase in the production of cream by 12.9%, cheese by 5.3%, sour cream by 0.5%, and other yellow-fat products by 88.9%,” the statement says.
A decrease was recorded in the production of drinking milk by 28.4% and fermented dairy products by 8.2%.
