Iberia to launch Podgorica-Madrid route next year

Spanish national airline Iberia has announced it will launch a new route between Podgorica and Madrid next year, according to Roko Tolić, Executive Director of Montenegro Airports.

In an interview on TV Vijesti’s “Bojama jutra,” Tolić revealed that details on incentives for low-cost carriers will be announced in the coming months in an effort to restore their flights. He also stressed the urgency of improving and expanding infrastructure at both airports before the winter season.

Furthermore, Tolić highlighted that baggage policies have been standardized across all airlines and encouraged passengers to check airline websites for the most current information.
