Montenegro’s Finance Minister, Novica Vuković, along with his team, is participating in the Annual Forum for Central and Eastern Europe, which brings together over a thousand investors from the region, Europe, and around the world, according to a statement from the Ministry of Finance.

The forum includes numerous panel discussions, workshops, and roundtables where participants exchange views on deepening cooperation, with a special focus on discussions with capital market representatives.

At the annual Invisso Forum, traditionally held in Vienna (formerly known as “Euromoney”), the Ministry of Finance delegation, led by Minister Vuković, took part in several meetings with global investors, organized by renowned investment banks.

During these meetings, Minister Vuković highlighted the significant progress Montenegro is making towards full EU membership, which is targeted for 2028. He emphasized that the goal of his ministry is to continuously and strategically manage public finances. During these detailed discussions, investors were informed about the importance of the recent adoption of the Fiscal Strategy, as well as other achievements Montenegro has made in a short period, particularly in terms of improving its credit rating, reaching the IBAR, and joining SEPA.

Maintaining regular dialogue with global investors is of great importance for continuously presenting Montenegro’s investment potential and enhancing its image as a stable, European investment destination.

Investors who met with Minister Vuković in Vienna have announced plans to visit Podgorica in March as part of a planned investment tour of the Western Balkans, the Ministry concludes.
