, NewsApartment prices are rising faster in Podgorica than in the European Union, nearly doubling, according to comparative data from the portal Investitor.me.
In the third quarter of the year, apartment prices in the EU increased by 3.8% compared to the same period last year, according to Eurostat data.
On the other hand, in Podgorica, according to Monstat data, the prices of new apartments in the third quarter of 2024 increased by 7.3%, nearly double the EU average.
According to Monstat, the average price per square meter for a new apartment from July to September last year was €1,824, €124 higher than in the same period the previous year.
Market data shows that the average price is higher than the statistical figure. According to the latest data from market analysts at the Adriatic Advisors agency, led by Darko Đikanović, the average price for an apartment in Podgorica is €2,050 per square meter.
As for rentals, the average price for a one-bedroom apartment in Podgorica is €460.
